Terms of Service

Last updated 19 June 2026

These terms cover the Skedlark website and the founding pre-order during the pre-launch period. A full product Terms of Service will follow at launch.

This document is maintained in English.

01Who we are, and what these terms cover

These terms are a contract between you and AI Merge Studio Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 16370224), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ. They govern your use of the Skedlark website and the founding pre-order offered on it.

This is the pre-launch edition. The product that connects to your social accounts is not yet live. A full product Terms of Service, covering the running service, will be published at launch and shared with founding members before it applies. By using this site or buying a founding seat, you agree to these terms.

02The founding pre-order

A founding seat is a pre-order of access to Skedlark at a fixed early rate. It is limited to the first 50 founding members, after which the offer closes.

  • You pay $15 today, which covers your first three months at $5/mo, billed once up front.
  • At $5/mo you are entitled to the full Standard plan once the product launches — not the lower Indie tier.
  • Your $5/mo founding rate is locked for six months from launch. After that, if you have chosen to continue, your subscription moves to the then-standard rate ($19.99/mo at the time of writing) unless you cancel — and we will email you at least 30 days before that change takes effect. We will not raise your rate inside the locked period.
  • Skedlark is in private beta now. Founding members are invited in during the beta; full public launch is targeted for August 2026 (possibly sooner). Your founding rate and the perks below are reserved from the moment you join.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction. We may show estimated taxes at checkout where required.

03Founding perks

Alongside the locked rate, a founding seat includes:

  • A pack of X-repurpose credits to start.
  • Priority feature votes and early access to every new channel and feature.
  • A private founders channel with a direct line to the founder.
  • Recurring commission on anyone you refer who subscribes, paid for as long as their subscription is active. Specific commission terms will be confirmed in the founders channel and may be adjusted prospectively with notice.

04Billing, renewal, and cancellation

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your $15 is charged once, today, and covers your first three months at the $5/mo founding rate. Your card is saved, and your $5/mo founding subscription then begins automatically when those three prepaid months end — at your locked founding rate, never the standard rate. We will email you a reminder before that first $5 charge, and you can cancel at any time in one step (before or after it starts) by emailing hello@skedlark.com or from your account once the product is live; cancellation stops all future charges. We never charge you without telling you first.

05Refunds and your statutory rights

If we never launch the product, you get a full refund of everything you paid — no forms, no friction. That promise is part of why the founding seat exists.

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you also have a statutory right to cancel a distance purchase within 14 days. Because a founding seat is access to a service that has not yet started, that right generally remains available to you during the pre-launch period; to use it, email hello@skedlark.com. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

06Acceptable use of the website

You agree not to misuse the site: no attempting to break, probe, or overload it without authorisation, no scraping at a scale that degrades service, no infringing others' rights, and no using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access that threatens the security or availability of the service.

07Intellectual property

The Skedlark name, site, copy, and design are owned by AI Merge Studio Ltd and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to view the site. When the product launches, any content you create or connect remains yours — the product terms will set out the licence you grant us only to operate the service on your behalf.

08Disclaimers

The pre-launch site and the founding offer are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We are building in the open and we give honest timelines, but we do not warrant a specific launch date or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. We disclaim implied warranties to the fullest extent the law allows, without affecting your statutory consumer rights.

09Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or relating to the founding pre-order is limited to the amount you have paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your non-waivable consumer rights.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, and we will publish the product Terms of Service at launch. We will change the 'last updated' date above, and for material changes affecting your pre-order we will give notice by email. If a change materially reduces what you bought and you do not accept it, you may cancel for a pro-rata refund of any unused prepaid period.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England & Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protection of any mandatory local consumer law and may bring proceedings in your home courts where the law allows.
